Wassily Chair
This is the most reproduction of all Breuer's chairs. It was designed for Kandinsky's quarters at the Dessau Bauhaus.
It was at the time quite revolutionary in its use of tubular steel. It was inspired by an Adler bike.
Bent, tubular, stainless steel frame.
Upholstered with saddle leather in the armrest, backrest and seat, creating the designs seating surfaces, which maintain their crisp tautness for decades.
It's smooth and bright.
