Vanucci, a kitchen and bathroom ffurniture company which was founded by Sinpaş Group’s subsidiary Prodek in 2005, has signed franchising agreements aiming at becoming a global player.
The company signed franchising deals in northern Cyprus, Qatar, Algeria, Azerbaijan and Libya, Ömer Güzgeren, founder of Vanucci, said Sunday.
"We will continue to franchise and establish partnerships,” said Gürgezen. “There is a significant demand for our products in developing countries. I believe that demand will continue to increase.”
Market research is key to success, according to Gürgezen. “We develop our products based on the findings of our market research. For example we have entered Azerbaijan with more classic models, while the Arab world prefers private designs.”
The company is planning to increase the number of its branches abroad to 35 by the end of June and 50 branches overseas by the end of 2010, said Gürgezen.
Speaking on the global economic crisis Gürgezen, said his company was not affected negatively thanks to its wide range of products. “We have products that address all kinds of income groups. We are not out of reach. Our products are the reflection of Italian aesthetics, German functionality and Turkish culture.”
